Global Premiere

Well folks, you can say you saw it here first. My girl and I have run with the flash of inspiration that struck me the other day and have created a documentary of our own making. It's titled, "Kiddie Size Me".

I may later edit this further so it's short enough to post on YouTube, but for now I like this version and I just wanted to put it up here so people can see it.

I did cut about a minute out of the embedded version and added music to the ending credits. If anyone's interested, check it out here.

This video is way too long. It looks like you and your daughter had fun, but it's not really that entertaining. sorry. maybe if you made it shorter.

I know it's long, but we made it mostly to entertain ourselves, as a way to try to capture a piece of summer. There are definitely more parts that could be edited out, but I'm not aiming to entertain the 2-minute attention span crowd. If I decide that's what I want to do, I'll cut it down to under 10 minutes and put it up on YouTube.

i left a comment earlier, but apparently it didn't stick. so here goes again...
it looks like you guys had a lot of fun. my favorite parts were:
1. the bass thumping car at dover delite.
2. the 'i wish you could smell the fryolater' comment at the dairy bar.
3. the artistic license of the director shooting the pine trees and clouds. (i thought i was watching an indie art film. :) )
4. the sound effects of the hurricane force winds at golicks. they also had the best kiddie size presentation.
makes me want to have some ice cream. yum.

Heidi-- you busted me for artistic pretensions! ;) I took way more film-making classes in college than a Japanese major needs.

Shannon-- We may be able to oblige. We were down having some lobster at Chauncey Creek last week and I was bummed I didn't have the camera. I'd go back and eat more lobster for the sake of .... videography.
